I am not the biggest coffee drinker (Mike and I don't even own a coffee maker in our home) but when the cold weather hits there is nothing better than a warm cappuccino in hand. However, I try not to use coffee as my way to wake up in the morning since I don't really want my body to become dependent on caffeine. Morning Metabolism Booster Recipe

Ingredients

  1. 1 Tb apple cider vinegar
  2. 8 oz filtered-water
  3. 1/4 tsp cayenne powder
  4. 2 Tb lemon juice (fresh)
  5. 1/2 Tsp maple syrup (the real stuff!)

Directions

  1. Combine together in a glass, stir and drink! This has a kick to it and definitely takes some getting used to, add a little more sweetener if needed.
