5 Sustainable & Eco-Friendly Swimwear Brands To Try This Summer
Swimsuit shopping isn't always the easiest, but when it comes to finding sustainable, eco-friendly swimsuit brands that you can feel good wearing I wanted to help make the process a little bit easier. With summer right around the corner, I pulled together five of my favorite sustainable and eco-friendly swimsuit brands that have a wide price range for almost any budget.
Remember, when purchasing something that has been made sustainably the key is to buy better quality, support better companies with better ethics, and overall consume less. Do we all really need 10+ bathing suits? Could a solid 2-3 absolutely amazing suits that will last us years and are timeless cover all our swimsuit bases?
If these bathing suits don't fall in your budget this year do not fret. Instead I would highly recommend checking out second-hand sites like poshmark where a lot of the time you can find never been worn items that may not have necessarily been made sustainably, but at least now you are doing your part to help extend the life of that particular clothing item and keep it from ending up in a landfill.
Now onto these bathing suits.

83% of Patagonia's swimsuits are currently made from recycled polyester, which is saving used polyester from landing in landfills where it can take 200 years to decompose.

They also launched an "Everything But Water" line as well that is made from recycled plastic water bottles.
